MARKET SAFETY
Moreland Farmers Market is located on SE Claybourne between SE Milwaukie & SE 17th, just north of Wells Fargo’s parking lot. SE Claybourne will be closed to vehicle traffic & the market will operate directly on the street. Wells Fargo’s lot can be used for customer parking.
As we adapt to this new space, the market will look & feel different than it has in the past. Throughout the season we will continue to prioritize market vendor, shopper, & volunteer health and safety — adjusting guidelines based on local guidance. Masks are not required, though we encourage anyone more comfortable wearing one to feel welcome to do so. We’ll have hand washing stations at the market as well.
Our new location currently offers more limited options for gathering, but we look to create some spaces for folks to enjoy food & company with their families, friends, & neighbors.
Safety precautions the market & our vendors are taking:
No vendors, staff, or volunteers are present at the market if feeling any symptoms of illness.
Vendors handling money, tokens, or vouchers should not handle food products until they have washed their hands.
Regularly sanitized high-touch areas & available hand sanitizer.
Vendors are encouraged to round their prices to the nearest dollar amount, where possible, to cut down on the number of coins and cash changing hands per transaction.
Safety precautions we ask shoppers to take:
Stay home if feeling sick or have been exposed to COVID-19.
When possible leave space between themselves and others when standing in line outside of a booth.
SNAP/DUFB will be available. (w/ $20 match)
